Digital Art classes include introduction to animation, character design and graphic design fundamentals. Students will go from having no experience with digital art to building confidence in using online tools, character design fundamentals and making their very own short animation, while collaborating with each other, making friends and exploring and expressing their own inner voice. More advanced students will get to further their skills under the guidance of a passionate digital artist instructor.
Along the way, students explore global perspectives through art and practice their social and emotional skills like identity, empathy, communication, and growth mindset, and present their portfolio to the online audience of their peers and family.
Students will have access to the Google Classroom for materials and instructions for independent work outside of each class. Parents will receive a summary and the list of materials for each class, along with additional resources and ideas to help children continue their learning at home, and updates on the progress of their children. Parents and students will have access to their teacher throughout the session if they need additional help and have questions related to their classes.
