Kitchen Chemistry Camp – Solving World Hunger

As part of the 2015 Kitchen Chemistry Summer Camp, students put together a “pilot” for a food-based television show. Their final show wowed us with its creativity, organization, and care for others! After learning 21st Century Skills such as empathy, appreciation, and collaboration, students decided create a show about innovations that can help solve world hunger. Their show was a mixture of video and live action demonstrations, and included ideas for inventions and recipes to help those in need. Everyone in the camp embraced some role – whether as TV Star, farmer, or camera person, to make the show a reality.
